THL-1550
is another classic design from Europe. Its headstock
clutch system is smooth, quick, and responsive. The
headstock clutch is made by Matrix Engineering, UK,
one of best headstock clutch manufacturers in the
world . The THL-1550 has a headstock lubrication pump
that continuously sprays the internal headstock to
lubricate and cool the spindle assembly. The lubrication
oil pressure flushing minimize the thermal expansion
and increase the life span of the spindle and gears
significantly. Still one of the most elegantly designed
lathe on the market, the THL-1550 surely stands the
test of time.
